Open any PDF form and start typing. Works with interactive forms and flat documents — no printing or scanning needed.

About this tool

Fill Out Any PDF Form — Without Printing

Got a job application, tax form, or rental agreement that needs filling out? Open it here, type directly into the fields, and save a clean copy. No printing, no scanning, no signup — and your file never leaves your computer.

Auto-Detects Fields

If your PDF has interactive form fields (text boxes, checkboxes), they're detected automatically. Just click and start typing.

Click-to-Type Mode

For flat PDFs with no interactive fields, just click anywhere on the page to place text. Works with any document.

Private & Permanent

Your file stays on your device. When you save, the filled values become a permanent part of the document — nobody can change what you typed.

How to fill out a PDF form

  1. 1

    Open your form

Click "Select PDF File" or drag and drop. The tool scans for interactive fields automatically.

  2. 2

    Fill in the fields

If fields were detected, you'll see light blue boxes — click any one and start typing. For flat PDFs, switch to click-to-type mode and click anywhere to place text.

  3. 3

    Save the filled document

Click "Save Filled PDF." Everything you typed is permanently baked into the document — the recipient sees a clean, filled form they can't alter.

Frequently asked questions

Does it work with any PDF?

Yes. If the PDF has interactive form fields, they're detected and rendered as editable inputs. If not (a "flat" PDF), switch to click-to-type mode and place text anywhere on the page. Either way, you can fill it in without printing.

Can the recipient edit my answers?

No. When you save, the form is flattened — your text becomes part of the page itself and can't be changed, deleted, or edited by anyone. It's like typing on a printed page.

Is my document safe?

Yes. Your file never leaves your computer — there's no upload, no cloud server. Everything runs right here in your browser, making it safe for tax forms, legal documents, medical paperwork, and anything else sensitive.

Is it free?

Completely free — no account, no watermarks, no limits on how many forms you can fill.

Does it support checkboxes?

Yes. Interactive checkboxes are detected and rendered as clickable boxes. Click once to check, click again to uncheck. The check mark is permanently saved into the PDF when you export.

Can I also add my signature?

For signatures, use our dedicated Sign PDF tool — it lets you draw, type, or upload your signature and place it anywhere on the document.
